Extension & Refurbishment - Jacksons Lane, North London

The property, purchased by our client was in a run-down state of repair and needed to be extended to meet their family’s needs.
To understand the client’s brief and to exceed their expectations, we took our time to discuss at length how they felt they would use the space, what was important to them and what was less so. This process allowed us to prioritise space and layouts to optimise the property to their needs.
At the uppermost floor, glazing was introduced to borrow natural daylight from a rooflight serving the staircase, to maintain privacy in the bedroom, the glazing could be switched to frosted completely obscuring the view into the bedroom. A very nice, if expensive touch!
The extension form was a little unconventional resulting in an interesting and engaging space flooded with natural daylight.
As other properties were in close proximity, party wall notices were required which we were also able to assist on.
